Pinterest is one of the most up-and-coming social media platforms for targeted advertisement and unbranded growth opportunities.

 

The Pinterest audience is looking for ideas and inspiration rather than a product which allows for a large outreach to new clients.

Pinterest is a media platform where the generational divide is minimized, meaning individuals of all ages are using it.

 

Pins can link to websites such as Etsy, personal blogs or online shops and allow for fast-growing impressions, especially if the Pin is created understanding the targetted audience (or the users of Pinterest).

I use Pinterest to generate flow to my Etsy Shop but I also use it personally for creative inspiration.

The pictures to the right are pins that other people have created and that I have pinned to my personal account. I enjoyed the aesthetic design of each photo, and many have links to a product or idea being sold by the artist.
